Hola, my name is Luigi

...but you can call me Lu, your new favorite boudoir photographer. I am Peruvian by birth, but a proud American by choice. I have a master’s in political communications from the American University in DC, and in a previous life, I had a rewarding event planning and senior protocol career in the US government. 

I am bold, direct, neurodivergent, queer, and passionate about my work. I love dad jokes, cast-iron cooking, flan, anything rum and mango, calligraphy, thrifting, and racing my fast old car. I am a proud dad of three awesome adult kids, but I recently separated from my wife after 30 years together. I am restarting my life; reseting my mental health; and refocusing my journey. Boca Raton, Florida is now my new home .

While planning big events, I picked up a camera to document some of my event details like handwritten place cards, table settings, and flower arrangements. It had been a while since I took photography in college, so I dusted off the old camera and started taking photo safari workshops. I came cross a renown pinup and boudoir photographer in Louisville, KY who mentored me and taught me what I know about impactful photographing femininity. I was hooked into photography once again. Fourteen years ago I opened Capitol Bombshell, (now Bombshell Noir), followed by Luigi Crespo Photography where I specialize in professional headshots, personality portraits, and product/food photography.

My studio is LGTBQ, kink and lifestyle friendly. No judgement here. I am proud of what I have built over 14 years. I am absolutely passionate about what I do, and I hope it shows.

At your photo shoot, you can expect 100% transparency, and passion and all posing and coaching is done verbally. If there is a need to touch you during a shoot for any reason, I will ask your consent first.
